KGF Shipping

Introducing KGF Nationwide Shipping

To the delight of gluten-sensitives across the country, Kanes’ entire line of gluten-free donuts is now available for shipping within the contiguous United States.

Made at Kanes’ iconic 120 Lincoln Ave. location—transitioned in 2020 from our traditional bakery kitchen to a dedicated gluten-free facility (no wheat flour particulates! no cross-contamination!), “Lincoln Ave,” as we affectionately refer to it, now ships all KGF12s: one-dozen boxes filled with 12 of Kanes’ coveted KGF cake-style donuts that are gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, made traditionally (in a kettle), and AS GOOD as the “real” Kane’s thing.

How To Order

Step 1

Please email KGF@KanesDonuts.com with the following information:

  • Your name, email address and your best contact number for taking a call so we can collect credit card info for payment.
  • Your KGF12 donut order—i.e., the amounts of each donut flavor you wish to fill your order of 12 ($79.95) or 24 ($129.95).
  • The mailing address to where you’re shipping (Remember: Nationwide EXCEPT Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.)

Kane’s is currently building the back-office tech to let #KGFNation ship a KGF12 from the comfort of their smartphone, tablet or computer.

Step 2

One of our A-plus managers in charge of KGF12 shipping will call you to collect payment via your credit card. When your order is filled on the Kane’s end, it will then be processed by FedEx. FedEx will email you a confirmation and an estimated shipping date to the email address you provided when you first placed your order at KGF@KanesDonuts.com. It’s that simple!

Now…donut forget to think ahead: With some tight wrapping, double-bagging and a little TLC, NOTHING freezes like our KGF line, so ship to those you love (or yourself) in bulk!

And since we all know that Kane’s donuts really are love… you, your families and the rest of #KGFNation can finally eat all the KGF love you crave no matter where you live. Because donuts are safe again, with Kane’s. And now they’re way easier to get, too. Finally.

KGF Shipping FAQ

What flavors can I order?

Kanes’ KGF line contains 12 flavors, and each KGF12 box holds 12 of our KGF donuts. You can fill that box any way you want. We are able to ship up to two, one-dozen boxes in the same order.

So, if I want all of one flavor, I can get that?

Yes.

Six of two flavors?

Yep.

One of each?

See above.

How about three of one; four of another; two of another; and then one each of your other nine flavors?

Darlin’, you build that box any way you want. #NoJudgment

Can I get more than 12?

Yes…but you have to order in quantities of 12 or 24. Our specialized insulated packaging ONLY has room for shipping one or two KGF12 boxes at a time and not boxes of any fewer than 12. So you may either order one KGF12 dozen, or two KGF12 dozens, but no quantity in between.

May I order only six KGF donuts?

We’re sorry, but no (please see above). To keep pricing as low as possible, we can only work with packaging that can be filled in quantities of 12 or 24 donuts.

What days do you fill orders?

Because our stores are crazy-busy on weekends, orders are filled every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday only.

Does that mean if I place an order on a Monday it could go out that day?

Orders are prepared in the order (heh) in which they’re received. While we certainly can’t promise same-day shipping, if we’re all caught up and you order on a Monday, there’s a chance it’ll be processed that day.

What if I order on a Wednesday?

Generally, orders placed after 10 a.m. on Wednesdays will be prepared for shipping the following Monday. That said, like we say above...if we’re all caught up and you happen to order after 10 on a Wednesday, there’s a chance it’ll be processed that day. Honestly, the following Monday is more likely.

How will I know when my order will arrive?

All orders ship via two-day FedEx to ensure they arrive as fresh as can be. The minute we drop off your packed order and it’s scanned by FedEx, FedEx will email you a tracking number and an approximation of when the package will arrive at your intended destination.

Can I choose the date I want my donuts to arrive?

You can approximate a window of time when they’ll arrive, but you can’t choose a hard-and-fast date. Barring weather catastrophes that impede FedEx’s normal delivery prowess, we can say with relative assuredness that your order will be delivered two days after your order is paid for, packed and dropped off at our local FedEx. That said, based on knowing that orders ship two-day via FedEx—and that we process orders in the order we receive them on Mondays-Tuesdays-Wednesdays only—you can in fact influence delivery based on the day you choose to place your order.

Can I ship to a post office box?

No.

Do I have to be home to receive my order? Does my intended recipient?

We ship our donuts in an insulated box…inside an insulated freezer bag…with ice packs. While donuts shouldn't hang on a doorstep for too long after hitting their final destination, donuts donut need to be signed for. Wink.

Holiday shipping: Does it require extra time?

If you’re used to sending or receiving items via FedEx at the holidays, assume that any high-volume gift-giving time of year (or, any time of year that’s affected by harsh weather) may lengthen delivery time.

My family flippin’ loves Kane’s but they moved to (insert podunk town here). Do you ship any of your traditional treats, or only the gluten-free line?

We’re only shipping KGF. For now.

Wait: You mean you’re working on shipping Kane’s classic donuts and coffee rolls?

Is our motto, “Donuts are love?”
